Purchasing and Finance Secretary, Level IV JobID: 14847 Position Type Administrative and Business Office Support/Secretary/Clerical Date Posted12/10/2025 LocationFinance and Budget DistrictWaterford School District Additional Information Position Purchasing and Finance Secretary, Level IV 12 month position - FTE1.0 Location Kurzman Administration Office, Crary Campus Responsibilities Review approve and process purchase orders for appropriate supplies materials and equipment necessary for the successful operation of the school district Assist end users with specifications obtaining quotes on purchase orders Responsible for administering formal public bids in compliance with all Board Federal and State policies ,
Responsible for writing specifications bid documents organize lead prebid conferences post all required information to district purchasing page Maintain update vendor files within finance software system as well as within Business Services Department Maintain processes assures compliance by vendors with all contract documents Administer the Districtrsquo;s purchasing card program Assists management of cash including bank functions ACH transactions wires check management Assists payroll tasks including review of entries double check work Completes fiscal year-end related activities Answers telephone email inquiries from employees outside vendors Provides back-up monthly journal entries cash receipts invoices other related data files into Business Plus system Reconciles monthly general ledger liability accounts Backup support others within Business Services department Other duties assigned Director Job duties will be performed in person Reports To Director of Finance and Budget WorkdayWeek Monday Friday8 hours per day Starting DateASAP Compensation MESPA I Master Agreement Classification IV New HiresStarting Salary $23.69 Based on experience Posting Date December10
