- Perform a head-to-toe wound assessment on all patients upon admission and through continuous care.
- Continuous care plan revisions and assessments as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluate overall plan for daily effectiveness.
- Knowledge of medications and their correct administration appropriate for patients and their clinical condition.
- Ability to perform treatments and provide services in accordance with federal, state, regulatory, and company standards.
- Daily communication with residents and their families to provide medical and wound updates.
- Ensure the delivery of quality patient care is rendered at all times.
- NYS Registered Nurse License.
- Experience in Wound Care required.
- Current certification in BLS and ACLS.
- Wound Care Certification Preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
