    On-Call Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm


    Reporting Days:
    On-Call


    Compensation:
    Hourly

    $13/hour


    Minimum Qualifications Required:

    Education:
    High School Diploma required


    Experience:
    Education experience preferred


    Certification:
    None


    Background: Clear FBI background check

    Language: Strong verbal and writing skills in English; Spanish fluency preferred

    Job Duties
    General Duties


    • Substitute when needed to unlock gates, doors, and windows; turn on lights and prepare facility for instruction
    • Be courteous and responsive to staff and student facility needs
    • Clean lunchroom following lunch periods
    • Clean, stock and sanitize staff and student bathrooms
    • Clean all areas assigned, including but not limited to vacuuming, scrubbing, sweeping, dusting, cleaning windows, etc.
    • Remove garbage
    • Maintain a pleasant appearance of the grounds and building
    • Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene of classrooms, offices, restroom, gymnastics, weight training and commons areas.
    • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
    • Assist in setting up and breaking down facilities for events, meeting, and other school activities.
    • Conduct repair regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or damaged equipment.
    • Professional cleaning in various environmental conditions, including exposures to cleaning chemicals and dust. They should be able to tolerate these conditions and follow safety guidelines to minimize risks

    • Communicates professionally with parent/guardians and the community.
    • Communicates with Facilities Manager to meet expectations
    • Communicates regularly with school leadership and other faculty to maximize effective instructional activities.

    • Implements school policies.
    • Tracks student attendance, behavioral issues, and classroom events.
    • Gives and receives positive and constructive feedback from colleagues.
    • Honors schedules and deadlines.
    Other duties as assigned.


    Knowledge and Skills

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Classroom and video platforms such as: Zoom or Teams.
    • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage the entire classroom.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Experience working in diverse communities and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives.
    • Demonstrated integrity and high standards in managing information in a confidential and professional manner.
