    Job Description

    Editor performs a variety of editorial duties, such as laying out, indexing, and revising the content of written materials, in preparation for final publication.

    Include technical editors.

    Qualification
    3-5 years of experience in journalism, editing, or research required.

    The Editor works under the supervision of the managing editor, writing, reviewing, rewriting, and editing the work of staff and freelance journalists to ensure all content produced meets the editorial standards of the client News organization.

    The associate managing editor plays a crucial role in ideating, coordinating, planning, and developing impeccable content.

    In order to fulfill the responsibilities as Associate Managing Editor, the ideal candidate will possess:
    Enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, self-motivation and flexibility
    Excellent written and oral communication skills with exceptional command of English
    The ability to stay calm under pressure, work well with others, and show initiative
    First-rate proofreading skills and attention to detail
    Experience creating, managing, and adhering to budgets

    Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
    Time management skills, including the ability to keep to tight deadlines

    Education
    Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Communication preferred
