- Design structural assemblies and fluid piping systems in accordance with customer specifications and contract documents.
- Develop component specifications and select equipment to support design activity.
- Develop design drawings: Piping and instrumentation diagrams, piping isometrics & various structural assembly design drawings.
- Develop installation procedures, operation & instruction manuals, and functional test procedures.
- Interface with customers and suppliers as required to obtain the necessary technical information to complete the assigned task.
- Assist with field installation, startup and troubleshooting of designed systems.
- Review customer specifications to assist with development of quotations.
- Perform activities within project budget and schedule requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Develop relationships with coworkers to better understand the processes and culture that affect safety.
- Influence safety by evaluating safety performance, participating in safety meetings, targeting areas needing improvement and developing initiatives to impact the areas.
- Thoroughly knowledgeable of Safe Work Policy.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- AutoCad experience
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in control and monitoring system design is a plus.
