    Regulatory Compliance Specialist

    Duration: 6 months

    Work Location:
    San Francisco, CA (Can work remotely)

    Work Schedule:
    M-F 9a-5p (strongly preferred to be US Pacific Time)

    Project Overview:


    Our client's Regulatory Compliance team is searching for a temp to support external reporting to regulators, including collision reports, operational data reports, ad hoc data reports, etc.


    Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:


    Supporting the Regulatory Compliance team's management of submitting required collision reports to CA and federal regulators, including collecting internal data, writing narratives of collision events, fact-checking, and quality control reports before final submission to government agencies.

    Supporting the collection of internal operational data to respond to regulators' inquiries
    Performing internal reviews at the direction of a Regulatory Compliance program manager to ensure compliance with state and federal AV regulations


    Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
    Experience assembling sensitive and critical regulatory reports to state and federal gov't agencies, or similar types of sensitive reports
    Fact-checking sensitive and critical data for data quality and accuracy
    Experience in performing internal audits or investigations that are safety-sensitive or regulatory-focused
    Self-starter with fanatical attention to detail; exceptionally high levels of integrity, personal ownership, and work quality
    Demonstrable ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
    High technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn proprietary software


    Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
    Experience working in a highly regulated industry (ideally transportation-related; would consider healthcare-related)


    The hourly pay range for this position is $ /hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
