    Supervisor Distribution Operations - 928 Shipping Supervisors
    • Distribution Responsibilities: Manager the team of employees by providing feedback and communication Oversees and develops a high performing team that meets the objectives agreed upon Managing the workflow in the shipping department Assessing the work performance of the employees and identifying the areas that need improvement within the shipping department Ensuring goals of the department and meeting goals and deadlines and performing at the expected standards Supports continuous improvement initiatives and identifies inefficiencies Training new hires and make sure they understand their roles within the shipping area Creates and implements best practice logistics principles, policies, and processes in the warehouse Overseeing general shipping activities within the warehouse Inspecting loading operations to ensure everything is correct Inventory reconciliation Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness Comprehensive and demonstrated diversity equity & inclusion knowledge and understandingQualifications and Skills: Advanced leadership and team management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Expertise in warehouse shipping Knowledge of warehouse policies Time management and organizational skills Maintaining teamwork mentality Strong knowledge and computer skills (MS, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
    Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize, maintain attention to detail Basic math skills Bachelor's degree
