    Real Estate Credit Associate Position Overview:

    As a Real Estate Credit Associate, you will play a crucial role in the management and oversight of our real estate credit portfolio - including high structured and complex performing, and non-performing loans across a variety of asset classes.

    Real Estate Credit Associate Responsibilities:

    • Credit Analysis: Evaluate and analyze the credit risk associated with real estate investments, loans, and other assets.
    • Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of the real estate credit portfolio, making recommendations for optimizing performance and mitigating risk.
    • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential real estate investment opportunities, including financial modeling and market research.
    • Compliance: Ensure that all real estate credit activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
    • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on the performance of the real estate credit portfolio to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, legal, and asset management, to execute strategies and achieve business goals.

    Real Estate Credit Associate Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field
    • 2-4 years of experience in real estate credit asset management, banking, or lending
    • Strong knowledge of real estate financial analysis and credit risk assessment.
    • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
    • Previous real estate underwriting experience with a bank or lender
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Knowledge of real estate markets and regulations.
