Our state-of-the-art laboratories play a crucial role in this mission, providing accurate and timely testing to support our patients' hormone therapy and wellness journeys.

    As a Laboratory Processor, you will be an integral part of our laboratory team, responsible for processing and preparing samples for analysis. You will perform a variety of tasks, including specimen handling, data entry, and quality control procedures, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and innovation in the field of hormonal health. Specimen processors are primarily responsibilities includes checking a specimen's information for accuracy, entering specimen information into the computer, and ensuring the right department receives the specimen and information. They may be responsible for testing, but if so, it is likely that they are only assigned basic tests; more complex tests are performed by professional laboratory technicians.

    Job Skills and Responsibilities:

    • Verifying accuracy of client and specimen details.
    • Examining specimens for adequacy and appropriateness.
    • Capturing client and specimen data electronically.
    • Sanitizing benchtops.
    • Labeling, numbering specimens, and preparing aliquots to be sent out if needed.
    • Centrifuging specimens.
    • Disposing of specimens more than seven days old.
    • Assisting clients and phlebotomists with inquiries pertaining to specimens' requirements and test turnaround times.
    • Complying with applicable laws and regulations, and company procedures and policies.
    • Loading and unloading specimens onto/from instruments.
    • Performing QA/QC duties (eyewash checks, temperature logs, etc.)
    • Completing training checklists and competency testing appropriately.
    • Following all PPE requirements.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to train for 2 weeks during daytime hours.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • 3 months of Previous experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting; we are willing to train the right candidate
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.

    Shift:

    Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm (Hours between 5p-5am has shift differential pay $1.50)

    Every other Weekend
