Be an integral part of the Middle East Traffic team where you will have the opportunity to work on iconic traffic studies, traffic control regulations and traffic impact assessment.

Work closely with our client to help in reviewing traffic studies that will improve the flow of traffic.


Position Overview:

Our Transport and Logistics team is seeking a competent Senior Traffic Engineer, with experience in large-scale traffic studies to bring new ideas to our exciting client.

Exchange ideas, solutions and keep up with traffic progress and development. Analyze traffic data including traffic flow, traffic surveys and preparation of appropriate solutions to achieve smooth traffic.


Responsibilities:

As a Senior Traffic Engineer, work in the areas of Traffic Engineering Design including traffic signals, interchange evaluation, roundabouts, signing/pavement marking, MOT; ITS Design including Interconnect design, DMS and system detection design.

Areas of Traffic Operations include - traffic operations analysis, safety analysis and traffic macro/micro modeling. Work closely with other team members in delivering traffic engineering projects.

Develop leadership skills by providing technical direction and mentoring to less experienced personnel. Participate in the pursuit of new projects and clients, planning, budgeting, and work on large-scale infrastructure projects.


Requirements:
As a successful candidate, be degree qualified in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation/Traffic engineering discipline. Professional experience in Traffic and ITS design projects with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills. Experience in the preparation of plans, specification and estimates to state and local standards, preparation of technical reports. Proficiency with Traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, Sidra, DynusT, VISSIM, VISUM, HCS, HSM). Interpersonal skills to influence and communicate with high-profile stakeholders. Middle East experience is desirable, particularly in Qatar.
