- Management of SQL databases in non-production and production environments.
- Able to write/manage scripts in TSQL, PowerShell, DOS batch.
- Ability to work within the confines of a ticketing system.
- Able to assist on any database issues regarding application deployments/changes/functionality in real time environments.
- Support DevOps related database pipelines and Cloud database initiatives.
- Resolve database integrity, performance, blocking, connectivity, and high availability issues.
- Database backup/recovery and capacity monitoring.
- 3 plus years of experience in SQL database administration.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022.
- Experience with other database RDBMs for example Postgres, Redis, Mongo
- Experience in HA/Failover technologies
- Capacity to discuss and implement operational automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible or other scripting languages.
- Experience with DevOps and Cloud Platforms.
- Excellent customer support and problem-solving skills.
- Strong focus on achieving goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

SQL Server DBA:
The Contract Microsoft SQL DBA will work on-site and be responsible for routine database tasks. IE: Database restores, installation and configuration based on provided set of standards. Opportunities exist to discuss improvements to existing methods in a collaborative team environment.
