Job Summary
The Import Trade Compliance Specialist will coordinate administer and manage activities related to Company s import Customs compliance export compliance activities policies including but not limited to those related International Traffic Arms Regulation ITAR Export Administration Regulations EAR Customs harmonized tariffs Schedule B statistical classifications denied parties export licensing The position will be responsible for implementing an internal compliance program strengthening Company s global capabilities in export control applying industry best practices This position will work cross-functionally with logisticsprocurement accounting legal as well as product suppliers customs brokerage service providers The person will be gathering information necessary for import clearances working in close communication with IPG s Import Brokers ensuring accuracy of trade compliance information documentation relating imports
Qualifications
- Experienced harmonized classification for US other countries
- Demonstrated experience performing customs declaration auditing
- Associate degree / or 3-5 years Customs compliance work experience other equivalent certification
