    Job Title: Network Data Engineer - L3

    Location: Houston TX

    Primary Skill (Technical Skill) : Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless, Infoblox.

    Educational Qualifications: B.E. / B. Tech

    Experience Level: Years

    Primary Skill (Must to Have)

    • Hands-on experience required on the following technologies:
    • Routing protocols - EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, PBR
    • LAN Switching - VLAN, VTP, STP, HSRP, GLBP,
    • Cisco Nexus Switches (5k, 7k, 9k) - VDC, VPC, OTV, FEX.
    • Cisco Wireless setup
    • Infoblox DDI.
    • TCP/IP protocol suite, Quality of Service
    • Riverbed WAN optimizer
    • Knowledge on IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+ and RADIUS will be preferred.

    Secondary Skill (optional) : Huwai Routing & Switching

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Managing end to end administration of all Network platforms (Cisco Router & switches, Cisco Wireless infra along with Infoblox DDI)
    • Ability to configure and debug and do basic level trouble shooting in technology areas like routers, switches, WIFI.
    • Exposure to troubleshooting of routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
    • Experience on switching (VLAN, VTP, RPVST, Stacking)
    • Experience in Cisco Catalyst 9K, 3550, 3650 and Nexus 7K & 9K, Cisco ISR/ASR routers.
    • WAN Router configuration and Troubleshooting
    • Knowledge on Riverbed WAN optimizer.
    • Network infrastructure management & configuration.
    • Experience to handle Cisco wireless Infra, Cisco Prime and WAP devices.
    • Strong knowledge on Infoblox DNS, DHCP.
    • Able to take handover from project team as required.
    • Regular audit of network devices and take corrective action accordingly.
    • Performance Management & Optimization
    • Root Cause Analysis
    • Provide inputs for Capacity Planning/ Migration/ Optimization / Future upgrade strategy based on the performance trend.
    • Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports
    • Coordination with multiple vendors
    • Handling escalated incidents or high critical tickets.
    • Plan and schedule for change management.
    • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and documents.
    • Prepare SoPs and SMTD
    • Good Communication skills.

    Certification:

    CCNP in R&S
