    Description

    Job Profile Summary:

    Responsible for making sure that all trades booked by the fund managers are true and accurate. Control the cancel and amend process for all front office trading desks. Key involvement in improvements made to the trade booking systems.

    Responsibilities:

  • Confirm and match all trades on a timely manner
  • Monitor inbox to mitigate risk on potential settlement issues
  • Resolving trade settlement issues in a timely manner
  • Perform monthly CSDR investigation and reimbursements as needed
  • Perform daily reconciliation of trade activity for cash and positions
  • Ensure all functions performed by Operations team are in-line with Man Groups growth or contraction
  • To continually review and improve the working practices/processes of the team.
  • Continually improve data quality and consistency
  • Ensure security data integrity across multiple internal systems
  • To work alongside/with other operational departments to provide cover/product knowledge
  • Maintain integrity of financial and confidential data
  • Assist with periodic compliance and regulatory projects
  • Opportunity to learn additional functions available
  • Identifying actual or potential instances of non-compliance with regulations.
  • Identify complex events and communicate to team members.

    • Key Skills & Experience:

  • Full understanding of financial instruments, specifically including Equity, Bonds and OTC (Swaps) – high.
  • Broad understanding of settlement intricacies across multiple regions
  • Efficient and ethical
  • Accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain things clearly
  • Strong prioritisation and planning skills
  • Teamwork approach to work
  • Ability to articulate Operational needs.
  • Ability to build and maintain third party relationships – PBs / Custodians / Counterparties.
  • Broad application skills across multiple platforms – Bloomberg/Microsoft Office
