    GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Financial Analyst I--Sales is responsible for reporting, analyzing, and interpreting financial sales data for accounting and business operations management. This position will focus in support of the sales function on the professional channel.

    CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting to support sales performance
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
    • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and financial models to guide decision-making and strategic planning
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to drive revenue growth
    • Assess the financial impact of sales initiatives, promotions, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability
    • Develop and prepare customer profit & loss statements for strategic customers within the professional channel
    • Support the development and evaluation of sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for comprehensive financial analysis
    • Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted financial results, offering recommendations for corrective actions
    • Contribute to the preparation of executive-level presentations on sales performance and financial outlook
    • Maintain centralized database for customer price sheets/quotes including gross to net sales programs and customer notification windows
    • Maintain accurate records of historical price increases including basis of justification
    • Respond to information requests from internal customers and others as assigned
    • Collaborate with Sales Operations Manager to plan and coordinate the execution of pricing plans that increase price realization and align timing to market for key customer accounts
    • Support pricing realization efforts with major customers by assisting in the completion of the standard customer requested pricing and line review templates
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    · College degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent required

    · 1-2 years of experience in business, accounting, and/or finance experience preferred

    · Demonstrated strong aptitude for problem-solving, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking

    · Must be strategic and results-oriented

    · Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment

    · Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver first-time quality product within deadlines

    · Must be self-motivated

    · Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

    · Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications

    · Proficiency in ERP and Business Intelligence tools (i.e. SAP, QlikSense, Microsoft BI, etc.)

    · Ability to present and communicate at all levels of the business from Executive Team to entry level

    · Ability to travel up to 5-10% of time
