Payroll and Administrative Support Specialist - Great Falls, Montana, , United States

Job description
General Expectations and Responsibilities
- Assist in verifying employee hours for accuracy and correct payroll entry
- Maintain and update employee information in the UKG payroll system
- Help prepare and export data for integration with in-house software programs
- Support timely and accurate processing of payroll and payroll-related transactions
- Generate and review bi-weekly payroll reports
- Assist with identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
- Support the preparation and distribution of W-2s and 1095s in compliance with federal ACA regulations
- Assist with processing garnishments, deductions and other payroll adjustments as required
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal policies and regulations
- Provide administrative support to Human Resources and Benefits departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong clerical, administrative and data-entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency
- Highly experienced in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, data validation, and spreadsheet-based analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office and other relevant software systems
- Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
