Position Overview:
This individual will play a crucial role in our organization, leveraging their expertise in commercial and construction insurance to ensure comprehensive coverage and risk management.
Responsibilities:
Underwriting review of Builders Risk Policies and Permanent Insurance Policies. Captive experience encouraged.
Understanding and identifying areas for optimization and risk mitigation for Inland Marine policies.
Manage several entities COI collection with additional insureds added and tracked. Streamline SOP.
Conduct audits internal provider audits of Purchase Orders and terminated vendor insurance.
Review and assess non-owned off-site storage coverage policies, implementing necessary adjustments to enhance risk mitigation strategies.
Generate and analyze Certificates of Insurance reports through Procore.
Undertake a comprehensive revamp of Garrett Construction Certificates of Insurance, ensuring exemptions are removed. Promote the updated COIs to relevant team(s) and communicate changes back to provider.
Pre-Qualification process for several entities to be executed and caught up on back work.
Qualifications:
This individual should have a commercial/construction insurance background. Licensing is not necessary, as the focus is not on selling insurance. Underwriting experience is a bonus.
The ideal candidate must be highly organized and up-to-speed on IDOI Rules and Regulations, as well as out-of-state policy requirements, particularly in relation to Multi-Family or Builders.
