    Job Description PeaceHealth is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Cardiac Surgery Unit (OHVI 4) on a full-time, night position basis. If you're passionate about providing top-notch nursing care while following professional standards and unit protocols, this might be the opportunity for you. Hourly compensation is set at $73.90, subject to candidate qualifications, experience, and work location. **POSITION DETAILS:** - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs. - Document patient care accurately in accordance with established standards. - Provide guidance to team members based on their education and competence level. - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and participate in hospital policy development. - Specialize in the nursing care of stroke patients with cardiac co-morbidity. - Continuously learn and grow professionally. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** **EDUCATION:** - Graduated from an approved nursing school. - A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferable. - Specialized certifications are a plus. **EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:** - Previous experience in an acute care facility is beneficial. - Familiarity with cardiac nursing is an advantage. - Ability to apply age-specific principles and patient-centered care. **LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:** - Current RN licensure in the state of practice. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. - Additional certifications required within specified timelines. **OTHER SKILLS:** - Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach. - Support the medical center's values and procedures. - Proficiency in basic computer operations. **PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS:** - Physically active role. - Capable of lifting objects of up to 50 lbs. - Attention to detail is crucial. - Frequently exposed to various working conditions.
