- Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader to ensure the project solution and quality goals are met.
- Work with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical, engineering proposals.
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget.
- Understand project schedules, project management plans, and manage project staff to ensure project requirements are met.
- Formulate/develop detailed project reports.
- Understand project financials and be able to report regularly to management on financial status and overall project performance.
- Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients and act as a single point of contact for assigned projects.
- Manage client interactions and negotiate / control project scope to client and company's satisfaction.
- Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or a related field) -OR- PMP Certification and 8 years' applicable experience.
- Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in a nuclear energy facility.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the nuclear industry as an Engineer or Project Manager.
- Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
- Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
- Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
- Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may occasionally require a client site assignment lasting several months at a time.

Responsibilities:Due to continued growth, Enercon's West Coast Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Project Engineer/Business Lead to join the team based in our Kennewick, WAlocation.

Salary Range
The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
