    Job Description

    The Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 will assist in maintaining facilities and be responsible for maintaining facilities grounds. This is a full-time, on-site position.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for maintaining all facilities owned by SVHC regarding upkeep.
    • Appropriate seasonal property upkeep to include gardening, shoveling snow, and salting of walkways at all facilities.
    • Pool maintenance.
    • Conducts routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, painting.
    • Maintain, service clean and properly store equipment, tools, and machines.
    • Participate in different projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor/manager.
    • Communicate to Supervisor/manager any issues that may cause operational interruption with any of the facilities.
    • Perform other related duties and activities as required.

    Skills and Experience:

    • 1+ years of experience in maintenance is a plus but not required.
    • Comfortable with hand and electrical tools.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Manual dexterity and physical stamina
    • To comply with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973's essential physical, mental, and environmental requirements, employees must be able to successfully perform all functions of their job with minimal supervision.

    Salary

    $ $22.00 (DOE)

    Work Hours

    Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Hours may vary with additional work hours as needed)
