    POSITION DETAILS
    The Fullerton School District is seeking a qualified individuals to fill a part-time Bus Driver position to drive a school bus in accordance with established routes, time schedules, District policies and procedures, and the State Vehicle Code.

    This career opportunity is a 30 hours/week, 9.65-month position with paid holidays, sick leave and vacation. The District offers a comprehensive package of health benefits, dental, vision and life insurance. Must be able to work between the hours of 6:00AM to 5:00PM.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
    Experience: Bus Driver experience required.
    Additional Requirements
    License: Possession of a valid Class A or B California Driver's License with "P" and "S" endorsements.
    Certificates: Possession of a valid unrestricted Special Driver's Certificate issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles for the operation of conventional and Type 2 school buses. Possession of a valid medical certificate as required by the Department of Motor Vehicles.

    EXAMINATION PROCEDURES

    This is a merged promotional and open competitive recruitment. The examination may consist of training and experience (supplemental responses) evaluation, written test, performance test and/or structured oral interview.

    To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each part of the examination. Final scores will be obtained by combining the relative weights of scores on each part of the examination. If Veteran's credit is claimed, proof of status (DD214) must be submitted to the Classified Personnel Commission Office at the same time the application form is submitted or prior to testing. The life of the eligibility list will be six months. The resulting eligibility list will be used to fill current and future vacancies.

    Date of Examination

    The date of the examination(s) will be announced at a later date. Candidates who are among the most qualified shall be notified via email, and/or telephone of the time, date and place of the examination(s).
