    Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
    Design and documentation for electronic schematics, PCB layouts and assemblies, and instrumentation enclosures. Design and documentation for control schematics for electrical systems.

    Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and electrical and electronic products and components, to ensure accurate designs that conform to current standards and client recommendations.

    Provide proper documentation as required to support, maintain, and operate machinery's electrical cabinet and enclosures and electronic components and enclosures.

    Generate bill of materials and prepare budget or cost estimates for equipment (electrical and electronic components, cabinets, and enclosers), construction, or installation projects or control expenditures.

    Analyze and make recommendations for internal and external technical specifications. Coordinate with other departments to ensure assemblies are manufactured and installed per the electrical and electronic drawing packages. Work with manufacturers and vendors to receive technical information and integrate components within the system design.

    Support field units by calibration, regulation, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily based on electrical or electronic principles.

    Provide leadership and support through scheduling events, programs, trainings, and activities.

    Support Engineers and Electrical Technicians to confirm electronic parts compatibility (design, manufacturing, and assembly), certification test, and vendor questionnaires and product anomalies.


    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Bachelor of Science Degree - Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering 6+ years of electrical design and engineering experience in the industry.

    Knowledge of analog and digital electronics design and simulation.

    Knowledge and experience of electronics design schematic capture and PCB board layout software, such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or equivalent.

    Knowledge of microprocessor based embedded systems and electronics hardware. Experience in design and documentation for industrial low voltage distribution and motor control in US and internationally.

    Experience in low voltage power distribution and PLC control system design including, but not limited to the following:
    wiring schematics, circuit protection, motor drives, panelboard, transformers, sensors and actuators.

    Knowledgeable of various electrical standards including, but not limited to the following:
    NEC, NFPA, NFPA70E, UL, ANSI, CSA, IEC, EN. Proficient with AutoCAD or EPLAN. Strong MS Office with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.

    Self-motivated to perform and solve problems independently and able to work with other members from different disciplines to complete projects.

    Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies and methods. Detail Oriented


    Desired Qualifications (Not Required): EIT or PE license Experience in the following electrical and control designs: variable frequency and servo drives, pipe handling equipment, NDT and ancillary equipment, and mobile generators.

    Experience in sensitive electronic instrumentation wiring in industrial environments. Experience in creating flowcharts and project timelines using MS Office products. Experience in programming PLCs.
