    Description

    Automotive Product Security Engineer (San Jose and San Diego CA/ Seattle, WA)

    The Company:

    Our Client is one of the worlds largest global Top-tier Semiconductor Companies. Their chips are used by some of the biggest names in the tech industry, and they are helping to shape the future of technology - thus, making them a major force in the semiconductor industry.

    Job Description:

    Analyze customer security requirements to improve the product security development process, baselines, criteria, or guidelines.

    Collaborate with product teams and customers/partners to conduct internal or external security audits on our commercial products to ensure security quality.

    Respond to product security incidents, and coordinate engineering teams and partners to resolve security-related issues.

    Work with cross-functional teams to conduct Threat and Risk Assessment (TARA) or threat modeling for products and provide security advice on security design.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

    7+ years of relevant work experience.

    Knowledge of cryptographic methods and algorithms.

    Knowledge of embedded system architecture and security (e.g., Android/Linux, ARM TrustZone, hypervisor/virtualization, etc.).

    Knowledge of hardware/software vulnerabilities and their exploit techniques.

    Experience collaborating with customers or partners.

    Experience with security design reviews or threat modeling from hardware to software.

    -Experience with secure code review, analysis, vulnerability assessment, hacking/attack analysis.

    Nice to Have:

    Experience with ISO 21434 or ISO 26262 compliance.

    Experience with TARA or HARA methodology and execution.

    CACSE (Certified Automotive Cyber-Security Expert) certificate.

    CACSP (Automotive Cyber-Security Professional) certificate.
