    About Our Client's Business

    This exciting rapidly growing business is a FTSE UK listed global group and a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced testing and development solutions to the global automotive industry.

    The Role
    This position is located in Wixom and is a stand-alone, hands-on

    full-time on-site role, but looking after three small entities located in Michigan and California.


    Taking responsibility for partnering with key business stakeholders, your goal is to ensure the delivery of HR services around the full employee life cycle, providing advice that is objective and fair, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and operating standards, policies and procedures.

    Your hands-on, service approach will ensure you are seen as a valued partner in decision making.

    Your positive attitude and ability to influence and deliver change will be vital in fulfilling the HR strategic plan to support continued growth.

    You
    HR or equivalent Bachelor's degree
    A minimum of five years' practical HR generalist/advisory level experience including employee relations
    A

    background in an engineering, manufacturing or product assembly or other organization with a technical/engineering or blue collar workforce
    Expert knowledge of relevant California and federal labor legislation
    Experience implementing the full employee life-cycle processes and procedures
    Proficient with HR Management systems
    Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
    Ability to work independently and be a strong business partner and advisor to all levels from engineering to senior management
    Ability to travel when needed
    All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA
