    The Automation Staff Engineer is responsible for providing technical support for automation systems across the organization. They lead and manage automation projects, from field instrumentation to Human Machine Interfaces and data management systems. The role involves overseeing automation system architecture, equipment specifications, project cost estimates, and commissioning activities, as well as supporting asset personnel with maintenance and troubleshooting.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Supporting and maintaining Delta V and Foxboro DCS systems
    • Serving as system administrator for Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Triconex PLC based control systems
    • Managing Automation systems with WonderWare InTouch and overseeing applications
    • Designing, implementing, and maintaining BPCS graphics following best practices
    • Leading safety critical automation projects
    • Developing standard drawings and specifications for control panels
    • Conducting incident investigations and participating in various meetings
    • Leading Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for Automation Systems
    • Maintaining, troubleshooting, and developing data management solutions using OSI Soft PI

    Required:

    • Bachelors in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
    • 5 years of experience in Automation and Process Control for Natural Gas & NGL processing facilities
    • Strong Windows OS administration skills
    • Competence in Microsoft Office tools
    • Proficiency in control configuration using function blocks, ladder logic, and structured text languages
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams
    • Knowledge of SQL language and Foxboro/Delta V applications
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
