    To provide effective and ethical treatment in order to help individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities reach their full potential. To provide programming based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and utilize evidence-based interventions. To provide the highest quality therapy for children we serve and the highest level of support for their families.

    Clinical Director Position Summary:

    The Clinical Director will possess excellent organization, management and growth skills and will be extremely knowledgeable of Applied Behavior Analysis as well as other related therapies. Must have 5 years minimum experience as a BCBA. The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring that all supervised staff possess the necessary credentials and training and are highly qualified to perform the services specified above. The Clinical Director will be able to collaborate and lead a clinical team excelling in verbal and written communication.

    Clinical Director Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Invest the time and resources necessary to create a successful clinical program at GVLC.
    • Provide leadership and oversight in the areas of behavior analytic services, clinical evaluation, clinical development, and training for team members.
    • Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and provide corrective feedback and disciplinary action of the Clinical Supervisor and Behavior Interventionist.
    • Develop and implement clinical training for Behavior Interventionist and Clinical Supervisors on clinical topics.
    • Supervise individuals working toward their BACB credential.
    • Plan for and lead clinical and operational meetings with administrators and clinical supervisors.
    • Maintain performance feedback systems for Clinical Supervisors and Behavior Interventionists.
    • Implement quality assurance procedures.
    • Review assessment, progress, and discharge reports.
    • Review client treatment plans and assist Clinical Supervisors with edits when necessary.
    • Review behavior support plans and assist Clinical Supervisors with edits when necessary.
    • Conduct caseload planning and caseload reviews for the team of Clinical Supervisors.
    • Develop and maintain detailed clinical procedures.
    • Remain current on technology and optimal service delivery.
    • Remain current on evidence based practices.
    • Actively seek, update, and communicate clinical changes dictated by a variety of insurance funders (Tricare, Molina, MHN, Anthem, Aetna, etc.).
    • Support clinical team within a parent training session as needed (i.e. problem solving, conflict resolution, enforcing policies)
    • Maintain a caseload of 1-2 clients.

    Clinical Director Work Hours and Location:

    The Clinical Director's schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:45am-4:15pm. The Clinical Director will oversee both the Golden Hill and Oak Park Locations.
