    Postdoctoral Scholar - University of California Los Angeles



    The Zeiger lab at UCLA focuses on understanding circuit dysfunction in neurologic disorders using advanced imaging techniques and behavior assays in mouse models of stroke and Parkinson's disease. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our community of neuroscientists at UCLA.

    Salary Range: $64,480 - $77,327


    • Develop and lead independent research projects
    • Mentor undergraduate students
    • Analyze data and prepare manuscripts
    • Present research at various meetings
    • Apply for fellowship awards

    Required Qualifications:

    • MD or PhD in Neuroscience or related field
    • Proven track record of project completion
    • Experience with rodents and fluorescence microscopy
    • Strong scientific communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced experience in microscopy and imaging techniques
    • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages
    • Knowledge of computational neuroscience
    • Experience with rodent behavioral studies and surgical procedures
    • At least one first-author publication
