Job Description

Summary: Seeking a Material Handler to manage inventory, verify shipments, and maintain stock organization in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

Receive and inventory all incoming shipments.
Verify and document parts, input data into MRP system.
Organize and store materials in their designated locations.
Prepare components according to customer specifications.
Conduct routine cycle counts and material inventories.
Package final products for shipment.
Pre-kit parts for SMT scheduled assemblies when necessary.
Load SMT feeders as required.
Execute additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to work both 1st (M-Th 6:00am - 3:15pm, Fri 6:00am - 12:00pm) and 2nd shifts (M-Th 3:00pm - 1:45am), with initial training on the 1st shift.

Skills:

Basic computer proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Two years of experience in a material handling role preferred, but not mandatory as training will be provided for suitable candidates without this experience.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

Capable of prolonged sitting, standing, frequent bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting materials within a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Equipment Skills:

Familiarity with counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) is beneficial.
Experience with various component prepping machines is advantageous.

Pay Details: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour
