    Job Overview

    The Member Services Representative will play a crucial role in ensuring an outstanding member experience at Planet Fitness. By delivering top-notch customer service, they will cater to the needs of existing members, potential members, and visitors.



    Key Responsibilities
    • Warmly welcome members, potential members, and guests, offering exceptional customer service.
    • Manage front desk tasks such as answering phones politely, checking members into the system, assisting with new member registrations, and providing tours to potential members.
    • Update members' accounts as necessary.
    • Address member inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters to the Assistant Manager or Manager.
    • Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the club.

    Qualifications
    • Preferably a background in customer service.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • A genuine interest in fitness and well-being.
    • Positive and energetic demeanor.
    • Punctual and dependable.
    • Exceptional customer service abilities, surpassing members' expectations with positive and professional interactions.
    • Effective listening skills with a knack for problem-solving and empathy.
    • Display diplomacy and appropriate conduct in all interactions.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Must be 18 years old or above.

    Physical Requirements
    • Standing and walking throughout the shift.
    • Engaging in continuous conversations in person or over the phone.
    • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.
    • Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals.

    Career Growth Potential
    • MSR: $14/Hr - Overnight: $15/Hr
    • Shift Lead: $16/Hr
    • Assistant Manager: Salary + Bonuses
    • General Manager: Salary + Bonuses

    Joining Incentive
    • Receive a $250 sign-on bonus after completing 6 months.
