XMSTART has an exciting opportunity to provide Systems Engineering Technical Advisory (SETA) support to an operations organization in Chantilly, VA
The focus of the position is progressing the ops organization's performance, efficiency, and resiliency
Tasks range from short term efforts such as information collection portraying the ops organization position on a variety of topics, to longer term planning efforts requiring working with the customer on creative solutions
The successful candidate will regularly coordinate within the Ops Engineering organization and across the broader enterprise, including many contractor personnel from several companies, to provide enterprise responses

Required Qualifications:

• Must have an understanding of the Customer's missions and system architectures
• Prior experience with Customer's missions, operational systems, and organization

Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering area(s) to include but not limited to:
Requirements Engineering, Systems Integration, Risk, Issue and Opportunity management

• Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics
• Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment
• Master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders consensus builder
• Possess the technical breadth of knowledge to identify and explain complex issues and provide recommendations on a broad range of operational, technical, and programmatic
• Ability to effectively coordinate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs)

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Required Education and Experience:

Contract requirement:
Bachelors of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) or relevant field; minimum 9 years' technical experience Desired Qualifications:

• Real-time operations experience as a spacecraft or ground systems operator
• Familiar with digital engineering, systems development methodologies (e.g Agile, DevOps, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.); cloud technologies
