Advatech is an established Aerospace & Defense Engineering firm supporting our customers with engineering, modeling, design and analysis services. Currently we have a opening for a Quality Engineer with Manufacturing and Fuel Pumps/Valves/Actuators experience.
Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position will focus on Quality and Manufacturing activities.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Assisting the Customer as required.(Project Management experience is preferred)
Document and investigate customer complaints and product return.
Initiate and manage corrective actions. Review, approve or develop corrective actions to ensure robust Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) is taken.
Assist other functional groups in reaching effective RCCA.
Interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues and take appropriate actions to contain non-conformance's, conduct problem investigation and drive problems to resolution.
Conduct quality assurance audits of processes as assigned by management team.This includes, but is not limited to, preparation of audit schedule and audit plans, conducting audits, and monitoring the performance of the audit process, as appropriate.
Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.Develops new applications for statistical tools to maintain and improve process capability.
Primary Qualifications include :
M inimum of 5 year's experience applying quality principles in a Manufacturing Environment.
Thorough knowledge of Quality Systems to include the current ISO 9001:2015 Standard.
Education
Requires a B.S. in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field .
