Assistant Professor of Psychology, Tenure Track
The Psychology Department at Suffolk University invites applicants for a full time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning July 1, 2024.
Area of scholarship is open, although we are particularly interested in recruiting a teacher scholar with a research program involving diverse and/or underserved populations and aligning with the department's social justice mission Psychology - Suffolk University.
Areas of neuropsychology and biological bases of behavior are also particular needs.
Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellent teaching and scholarly potential, including a research agenda and plans for peer-reviewed publication.
D. program in Clinical Psychology, and a Masters of Mental Health Counseling program. The successful candidate will teach at the undergraduate and doctoral level; previous teaching experience is preferred.
In addition to demonstrating excellence in teaching and research, the successful candidate is expected to advise and mentor undergraduate and clinical doctoral students, serve on dissertation committees, and engage in service within the Department, College, and University.
