    Duties:


    Provide specialized legal counsel and guidance in the field of renewable energy real estate, with a focus on wind, solar, and battery storage transactions.

    Lead, manage, and oversee scopes of work within the legal team, ensuring effective execution of legal tasks.
    Mentor, guide, and collaborate with junior attorneys, facilitating their professional growth.
    Collaborate extensively with legal professionals within the energy and natural resources strategic business unit.
    Offer comprehensive legal support for renewable energy real estate matters, including due diligence, acquisitions, leasing, and project development.

    Draft, review, and negotiate essential legal documents related to real estate transactions, such as lease agreements, purchase contracts, and financing arrangements.

    Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to assess potential legal risks and issues relevant to renewable energy projects.
    Work closely with clients, developers, investors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful completion of renewable energy transactions.
    Stay informed about and adapt to changing regulations, legislation, and legal developments that impact renewable energy real estate.

    Requirements:
    A minimum of 6 years of legal practice, with a significant focus on renewable energy real estate transactions.
    Proven experience in wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
    Comfort and confidence in leading scopes of work within a legal team and overseeing junior attorneys.
    Possession of an active MN Bar license or a clear commitment to promptly obtain one.
