    Job Title: General Sales Manager

    Colton RV & Marine is a family-owned dealer with over 60 years in business across 3 generations. The Colton RV & Marine brand started out as an automotive business and has grown into a dealership with top-notch motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, camper vans, and tent campers.

    We are proud to represent top brands like Airstream, Coachmen, Dynamax, Forest River, Grand Design, Keystone RV, Thor Motor Coach, and Tiffin Motorhomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead sales meetings and trainings to maximize gross profit opportunities for all departments within the dealership.
    • Run the daily production meeting to drive finance penetration and protect departmental profit opportunities.
    • Desking and closing deals with the sales team while ensuring adherence to the sales system.
    • Work closely with salespeople to analyze and review leads using the CRM Dashboard.
    • Conduct quality manager check points to ensure customers are viewing appropriate inventory.
    • Monitor customer interaction and up process on the Road to the Sale.
    • Meet and greet all customers before they view inventory and again before they leave.
    • Create and monitor sales manager and salesperson schedules.

    Cleanliness of the Dealership:

    • The showroom and sales lot must always appear clean and organized, adhering to our 'Look Good, Feel Good, Play Good' policy.

    Inventory Management:

    • Walk all trades and negotiate if undisclosed damage is found on day of delivery.
    • Ensure the trade check-in process is followed.
    • Monitor inventory levels and work with the VP of Sales on any inventory needs.
    • Review ACV's and pricing with the VP of Sales.
    • Ensure all inventory is priced accurately at all times.

    Customer Experience:

    • Promote a 5-Star Customer Experience by pushing for 5-Star Google and Facebook reviews on all transactions.
    • Resolve customer concerns to positive outcomes.

    Sales Team Development:

    • Provide coaching and one-on-one training to salespeople.
    • Complete report cards and conduct regular performance evaluations.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to build a positive sales culture.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of success growing sales departments.
    • Experience building a positive culture and developing strong customer relationships.
    • Excellent communication skills and prior experience leading teams.
