    Job Title: Certified Nurses Aid (CNA) Instructor


    Company: Health Education Institute

    The Health Education Institute is seeking a passionate Certified Nurses Aid (CNA) Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the CNA program at our institution, ensuring compliance with state regulations and grant guidelines.

    The main goal of the CNA Instructor is to equip students with the necessary skills to care for patients' physical, physiological, and psychological needs effectively. The course includes 90 hours of training to prepare students for the NJ State Licensing Exam and work in healthcare facilities.



    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement CNA course curriculum in alignment with state requirements.
    • Deliver training programs using approved curriculum and clinical assessments.
    • Evaluate students' progress through assessments and observations.
    • Foster engaging learning environments through discussions and skills instruction.
    • Maintain accurate records of student performance and requirements.
    • Assist students in registering for the state CNA Licensing Exam.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements:
    Associate degree or higher in the nursing field
    Registered professional nurse licensed by the NJ State Board of Nursing
    Completion of the required training workshop for Instructors/Evaluators
    Three years of clinical experience
    Strong communication and teaching skills

    Terms of Employment:
    Part-time hours up to 25 per week

    Grant Position Notice:
    This position is grant-funded and will end upon grant expiration.
