Position Summary:

The job includes operating seated forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, stowing products, and picking orders with use of lift equipment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Follow all safety procedures.
Perform outbound functions include selecting, checking, re-containerizing.
Inbound functions include receiving, placement and put away of product.
Pick orders with use of lift equipment.
Operate all lift equipment in safe and proper manner, checking to make sure loads are secure.
Identify possible damaged or "red tag" material upon receipt of product.
Collaborate with team members and communicates relevant information to the direct leader.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have valid driver's license.
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills
Must have valid forklift certification or license.
Must have prior experience in forklift operations in a warehouse or distribution environment or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures including safety, receiving, and shipping procedures and logs and hazard material requirements.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, safely and effectively working with other members of the department and take instruction.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
