With a heritage of technological excellence, our team serves customers in the communications, defense, medical, industrial, and scientific markets.
As a Level III Welder/Fitter, you will play a critical role in the production process by welding and fitting components to the highest standards of quality and precision.
Perform welding tasks with precision and skill, using various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding, depending on the project requirements.
Locates and repairs cracks in products and equipmentDetermines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
Trains less experience employees to build quality product within the time standard
Under minimal supervision, interprets drawings, sketches, and/or preliminary designs, and produces weldments from that interpretation
Trains less experience employees to build quality product within the time standard
May need to operate a vehicle or forklift
Work done with minimal supervision
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering specifications. Familiarity with various welding equipment and tools.
Ability to work independently without supervision
Must pass welding tests and hold certifications to meet AWS D1.Strong computer skills.
