    Responsibilities:

    1. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other related expenses. Analyze project plans and specifications to identify project requirements and potential cost implications.
    2. Bid Preparation: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive bids and pricing. Develop comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements.
    3. Budget Analysis: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review and analyze project budgets. Provide valuable input during budget development to enhance cost-effectiveness.
    4. Value Engineering: Evaluate and suggest value engineering alternatives to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards. Work closely with project teams to find cost-saving solutions without compromising project integrity.
    5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and relevant documentation. Generate reports to communicate cost estimates, comparisons, and recommendations.
    6. Vendor and Subcontractor Relationships: Foster strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely responses. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
    7. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and market fluctuations to ensure accurate and up-to-date cost estimates. Utilize market data to enhance competitiveness in bidding.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably with commercial general contractors.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
    • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
    • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
