    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and oversee a wide variety of construction projects from beginning to end.

    The Construction Project Manager we are looking for will have previous experience in exterior remodeling as well as overall construction knowledge.

    They will be highly organized, able to plan ahead, and multitask to meet deadlines and control costs.

    Construction Project Manager Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
    • Manage materials to keep costs low
    • Determine necessary equipment, materials, and workforce
    • Track inventory, tools, and equipment
    • Ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment
    • Prepare reports on job status
    • Resolve any project issues that arise
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
    • Evaluate risks
    • Train and mentor construction workers and laborers depending on project size
    • Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key project team members
    • Communicate with external vendors
    • Meet all deadlines
    • Delegate tasks
    • Allocate and manage resources to ensure availability when needed throughout the project
    • Keep coworkers informed of project progress and prepare regular progress reports
    • Handle environmental or community issues that may arise during a project
    • Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards

    Construction Project Manager Requirements:

    • Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
    • Highly organized
    • Previous experience in a leadership role with strong leadership skills
    • Knowledge of MS Office
    • Previous work experience in construction management or a similar role
    • Understanding of construction management processes
    • Able to plan ahead
    • Familiar with construction and project management software programs
    • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations, quality standards, and human resources
    • Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
    • Strong time management skills
    • Able to multitask with a good understanding of core manager duties
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills
