    What you will do

    • Policy development Assists in the development, evaluation, and implementation of divisional policies and procedures facilitated through participation in College, Division, and program teams such as committees or assigned projects as well as in-service activities.
    • Staff Development Coaches and assists other EMS educators to function as a team to provide and assure ongoing quality of pre-service and in-service programs as well as best practices in teaching and learning.
    • Continuous Improvement Collaborates with program faculty to ensure best practices in teaching and learning for program students.
    • Program Marketing Conducts outreach and program marketing activities, establishing good relationships with state, public and local agencies.
    • Training Coordination Coordinates pre-service and continuing education classes, coordinates and participates in clinical experiences. Coordinates with other related educational programs within the State and the college.
    • Program Development Demonstrates active leadership by planning, implementing and assessing programs that contribute to Strategic Directions.
    • Assessment Evaluates and assesses student outcomes through appropriate assessment tools/methods; actively utilizes results to inform improvements at a program and course level.
    • Complaints Management Mediates and communicates concerns between students, clinical faculty, center clinical coordinators, the general public, and the college.
    • Training Development Seeks innovative and alternative methods to optimize safe and effective teaching and learning environment.
    • Training Delivery Teaches assigned program courses and assist with the development of specific course content based on the National Standard EMS curriculum.
    Qualifications
    • Required High School Diploma/GED
    • 3 years EMT or Paramedic Required
    • 2 years EMS Education Required
    • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Instructor Status
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor (ACLSINS) - American Heart Association
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor (PALSI)
    • Prehospital Trauma Life Support Course (PHTLS) Instructor Status
