    Description

    Our client in Newark, DE is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Summer Intern. This is a paid internship that runs from June to September with a schedule of 8AM – 4:30PM.

    Summer Project: Performs a variety of duties following established work instructions to perform the analysis of hearing protection needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • understands all machine safety requirements
    • industrial machinery for sources of excess noise
    • means of abating noise appropriate to the machine in question and manufacturing processes

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • must be in Junior year, Senior year, or freshly graduated
    • major, mechanical preferred
    • with methods of acoustical assessment and analysis
    • with engineering controls to abate noise
    • Oral and written communication skills to present findings to management
