Assistant Manager – Perx Car Wash
Anderson, SC | Full-Time | $15–$20/Hour
About Perx Car Wash
Perx Car Wash is a historical car wash in Anderson, SC, serving the community for over
60 years. We're looking for a driven, experienced Assistant Manager to help lead our
Anderson, SC location and deliver an exceptional experience to every customer who
pulls in.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll be a key leader on-site — driving membership sales,
managing your team, keeping equipment running, and making sure every customer
leaves happy. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced
environment and takes pride in running a tight, clean, high-performing operation.
What You'll Do
Sales & Membership Growth
Actively promote and sell our Perx unlimited wash membership program to every
customer
Coach and motivate team members to hit membership sales goals
Track daily sales performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue
Labor Management
Assist in scheduling, training, and supervising front-line staff
Ensure proper staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours
Hold team members accountable to performance and service standards
Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance tasks
Identify and report issues promptly to minimize downtime
Ensure the wash is operating safely and at full capacity at all times
Customer Service
Set the tone for a welcoming, professional customer experience
Handle customer concerns and complaints with confidence and care
Lead by example on the lot — visible, engaged, and service-focused
Requirements
Car wash experience required — you must understand the industry and the
equipment
Prior management or supervisory experience required
Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends (weekend availability is a
must)
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Sales-minded with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $15–$20/hour based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, including weekends (weekend availability is required)
Consistent hours in a stable, growing company with room for advancement
