- Master's degree in Nursing required. Candidates nearing completion of their Master's Degree may be considered.
- Recent relevant clinical experience and NYS RN license required.
- Previous teaching experience in a nursing program, curriculum development, and accreditation work highly desirable.
- Provide classroom and clinical instruction to students
- Provide academic advisement through student meetings, evaluations and assessment of advisees' academic programs
- Serve on college committees
- Participate in curriculum development activities
- Maintain office hours and be available to students as needed and as stated in the bargaining agreement
- Participate in professional growth and development activities
- Attend commencement and professional workshop days as defined by the college calendar
- Perform appropriate other duties as requested by the Provost/Department Chair
- Salary will depend on rank according to education and experience – Starting salary: Instructor: $56,132; Assistant Professor: $62,567.

Job DescriptionFinger Lakes Community College is currently recruiting for a full-time Nursing Faculty. This is a twelve-month teaching position with an opportunity to change students' lives while inspiring them to be the nurses of tomorrow. This position will also serve as the LPN Program Coordinator. The coordinator assures/organizes all things related to program certification/approval/reporting, day-to-day operations, instruction, and the clinical experience. In addition to oversight, the coordinator will also have some instruction and clinical responsibilities. Performs duties essential to the achievement of the departmental goals as well as participates in selected other phases of Nursing Department accreditation activities.
