    JOB SUMMARY:

    Under general direction, the Development Operations Manager oversee various aspects of the fundraising process with key responsibility to Data Base Management, Donor Pipeline Research, Reporting and Campaign support. Manage development operations, including Foundations CRM, support development team and capital campaign staff, streamline processes and enhance efficiency in donor engagement. Maintain accurate donor records, optimize fundraising systems, and contribute to a successful and sustainable fundraising strategy. Assist Manager in the planning, implementation and documentation of fund-raising programs, campaigns, and activities for the Foundation, with specific responsibility for the capital fundraising, annual fund and major gifts. Utilize organizational prowess to maximize donor engagement through stewardship, and pipeline development. Support Development Directors and Executives to maximize success.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to maintain data quality in CRM to meet fundraising goals. Provide regular reporting to Executive Director, Board and team, and reporting as needed. 20%
  • Develop and execute comprehensive prospect development plan to ensure ongoing growth of donors. 20%
  • Assist in the implementation of Campaign plans including donor relations, marketing, communications and public relations utilizing various channels to maximize outreach. 45%
  • Provide management of direct report staff members. Attend regular meeting, as needed. 10%
  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned (5%)
  • QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing, non-profit management, business administration, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution;
  • Minimum five (5) years professional experience in resource development; non-profit or higher-education fundraising, foundation experienced preferred;
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications to include expertise in Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, Access, general database management, and electronic spreadsheet software required;
  • Exhibits proven development operations expertise, and thrives in a dynamic educational environment
  • Proven knowledge of Blackbaud Raisers Edge or other CRM and Wealth Engine or comparable program required.
  • Proven track record in individual and corporate relationship management including donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, resource development including planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Strong writing skills, with examples of prior solicitation and/or proposal writing
  • Experience in marketing and communication plan implementation. Design capability in Adobe suite or another creative suite, preferred.
  • Proven leadership/supervisory capabilities.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving ability, and organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong organizational and human relations skills;
  • Have good judgment in working with sensitive/confidential material,
  • Must possess ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions
  • Preference shall be given to the professional credentials in computer science, fund raising, or public relations
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
