    Registrar Services Administrator

    General Purpose:

    This position's primary focus is ensuring all registrar related services provide MICA students with exceptional support related to records, onboarding, veteran benefits, and academic services and programs.


    Summary of Responsibilities:

    The Registrar Services Administrator supports Enrollment Services with work related to student onboarding, records and enrollment as well as a high level of support specifically centered around Veteran Benefits, as MICA's designated School Certifying Official.

    Registrar Services responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    • Provide direct support to students, current and prospective, and other key audiences as related to services provided through Enrollment Services
    • Work in partnership with faculty and staff around academic records included but not limited to grades, transcripts, schedules and academic calendars
    • Execute tasks related to enrollment, registration, and student onboarding including maintaining accurate student records
    • Work in partnership with Financial Aid and Student Accounts to apply charges, aids and discounts and ensure student account accuracy
    • Ensure all processes and communications are in compliance with FERPA regulations
    • Support for planning new education processes in partnership with third party vendors
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
    School Certifying Official responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    • Complete all required annual VA SCO training certifications to maintain active SCO status
    • Assist students with documentation, comprehensive resources and support related to receiving and maintaining benefits
    • Perform all VA benefit enrollment certification tasks in compliance of all federal policies and regulations issued by Veteran Affairs
    • Work in collaboration with Financial Aid to ensure all financial aid being reported is accurate and up to date as related to their enrollment status
    • Inform State Approving Agency (SAA) of new programs or changes in programs
    • Lead, organize, provide on site support and supply all required documents for compliance visits/audits from Education Liaison Representatives

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized
    • Ability to maintain civil demeanor and professionalism
    • Data entry and management skills with attention to detail
    • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Drive

    Minimum qualifications:

    • High School diploma/equivalent
    • Demonstrated at least 3 years of office experience

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Prior SCO/Experience with Veteran Benefits Processing
    • Prior experience with student enrollment and records
    • Experience with PeopleSoft
    • Experience with Asana
    • Bachelor's Degree
