Highlights of this position include:Potential starting base salary: $245,000 - $306,000Daily schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery from any U.S. StateProviding mental health services for any eligible veteran requesting services.Recording data from patient visits, including chief complaints, active problems, medications, physical findings and results of diagnostic tests.Formulating assessment and plan according to accepted protocols, treatment plans or attending physician's treatment protocols, treatment plans or recommendations.Prescribing medications according to formulary.Orders lab and non-invasive diagnostic and preventative screening tests as indicated.Referring patients to other services of subspecialty clinics as indicated, including nutritional counseling.Performs and records history and physical examinations.Performs review of lab results and identifies abnormalities according to established guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:Board certified or board eligible.
