- Administrates company's time, attendance and payroll systems.
- Processes weekly payroll to ensure payroll processes are accurate and timely in all facets of operation and execution.
- Assists with maintaining related payroll records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments.
- Prepares accounting transactions and documents.
- Assists with documenting and updating work procedures, and prepares special reports for senior management.
- Protects company proprietary and confidential information.
- Other duties as assigned including special projects that support business needs and strategic goals
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of US payroll and time keeping solutions and related programs are met in accordance with all US governmental and regulatory requirements including compliance with regulations at the state, and federal statutory levels.
- Proficient in application research, problem solving and decision making.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Access, Word and SharePoint preferred
- Ability to demonstrate close attention to detail and ability to manage sensitivity with confidential information.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills required.
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Associate's degree in relevant field preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in high-volume, multi-state payroll processing, procedures and timekeeping processes
- Experience with ADP, Workday, OSV or similar payroll software preferred.
