    Title: Benefit Consultant


    Location: Miami, FL (onsite role)


    Duration: 6 Months


    Pay Range: $17.00/hr - $21.00/hr.

    We are looking for a
    Benefit Consultant to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.


    Required skills:

    • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
    • Must reside in Miami.
    • Travel and parking expenses will be reimbursed.
    • Appropriate dress code required (no tennis shoes).
    • No personal use of equipment or cell phones unless related to work.
    • Must handle all personal business outside of the office.
    • Candidate will interact with both the MDCPS benefits team on-site
    • Requires experience with the administration of vision care plans.
    • Access to reliable transportation required for travel to school locations.
    • OIG/GSA/OFAC screening required.
    • Mandatory training and compliance requirements.

    Responsible:

    • Serve as a liaison between EyeMed Home Office and Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS).
    • Support MDCPS in the administration and management.
    • Serve MDCPS employees by being an expert on the vision plan and other benefit offerings.
    • Handle walk-in traffic and phone calls from MDCPS employees regarding vision benefits.
    • Travel to schools (~500 locations) throughout the district to educate employees on benefit programs and wellness.
    • Attend Health Fairs and Open Enrolment Events.
    • Work on eligibility exception reports and reconciliation reports for MDCPS.
    • Handle paperwork for COBRA applicants.

    Interview process:
    1st Round: pre-screen over the phone
    2nd Round: 2 other people for 45 minutes each
