    Description

    Benchmark at Rye is willing to pay you to train and become a Certified Personal Care Assistant. Must be a compassionate Home Health Assistant to join our team As a Home Health Aide, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

    Full Time and Part Time Schedules available

    Days: 6a -2p

    Evenings: 2p-10p

    Nights: 10p-6a

    Base Rate: $ $2/hour differential for Nights and Weekends

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
    • Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
    • Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
    • Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
    • Other duties as needed.

    HHA Requirements:

    • Valid PCA Certificate which we will pay for you to take class or CNA-HHA license or certificate required.
    • Prior experience in an assisted living community. Memory care experience is preferred.
    • Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits)
    • Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
