We are collaborating with a leading educational institution to find a dedicated Student Life Counselor who will be the cornerstone of support and guidance for students within a vibrant residential program. This role is perfect for someone passionate about aiding students in achieving both academic and social goals, committed to creating a nurturing and productive environment. The primary purpose of the position of the Student Life Counselor is to serve as the principal direct caregiver for students within an assigned house.
This position requires afternoon and evening hours.
Responsibilities:

• Student Mentorship: Establish trust and meaningful relationships with students, offering guidance, emotional support, and mentoring.
  
• Family Engagement: Enhance connections between students and their families, fostering communication and involvement in the student's educational journey.
  
• Advocacy: Uphold the dignity and rights of students, advocating for their needs and ensuring ethical treatment.
  
• Health and Wellness: Address healthcare and mental health needs, referring to appropriate services and supporting students through personal challenges.
  
• Academic Support: Facilitate academic success by maintaining structured learning environments, assisting with homework, and encouraging college preparation.
  
• Safety and Recreation: Ensure a safe living environment, organize recreational activities, and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
  
• Character Development: Foster character growth and social skills, teaching and modeling core values and life skills.

Qualifications:
